Biografi
Den italienske oboisten Giovanni De Angeli har diplomexamen från Hannover och Genève. Han har framträtt som solo-oboist i konserter med Scala di Milano, BR Symphony Orchestra och Münchens filharmoniker. Giovanni De Angeli har hyllats som solist på flera stora scenen världen över, inklusive Scala di Milano, Mozarteum Salzburg, Tokyo Suntory Hall och Lincoln Center New York.

Giovanni De Angeli was born in Turin in 1967 and had his first oboe lessons at that city's consevatoire. He completed his studies with Ingo Goritzki at the Musikhochschule in Hannover and pursued further studies with Maurice Bourgue at the conservatoire of Geneva. Giovanni De Angeli won the international competitions of Sony-Tokyo and Prague spring and was principal oboe of the Tuscany orchestra in Florence. Although he has been working as a soloist and as solo oboe in leading orchestras, Giovanni De Angeli is very engaged in performing early music on original Instruments Recordings of the artist are available by Fone', Brilliant and BMG Sony.
